Powering inclusion, investing in the future

MCB Forward Foundation backs Fondation Georges Charles with over Rs 1.9 million to enhance lives and accelerate its green transition.

The Fondation Georges Charles (FGC) has reached a new milestone thanks to funding of more than Rs 1.9 million from the MCB Forward Foundation, the CSR arm of MCB Group. The support has enabled the installation of a photovoltaic system and the acquisition of adapted gym equipment, strengthening the Foundation’s ability to support children and young adults living with intellectual disabilities.

A greener future, greater impact

The new 23.4 kWh solar energy system is expected to meet almost all of the Foundation’s electricity needs, reducing both operating costs and environmental impact. The savings generated will be reinvested into educational, therapeutic, and personal development programs for beneficiaries.

Empowering lives through inclusive support

FGC currently supports 72 children, adolescents, and young adults aged 5 to 38 through a multidisciplinary approach that promotes autonomy, inclusion, and skill development. By combining sustainability with social impact, this initiative will help the Foundation continue creating opportunities for those who need them most.
